A break

It seems that I have to suspend this blog for a while, as I am pretty busy right now. But I'll be back one day;-)

"Gate" (30)

This kind of "gates" are constructed by people in Poland after the weddings. If they were adults, they would get some vodka and then they would let the cars pass by and go to the restaurant for the wedding party. I'm not quite sure what kids usually get - either sweets or money.

Light (24)

I really like the colours in this picture. Half of the sky was covered with thick storm clouds and at the same time the sun was shining.

Come back (21)

I took this photo at 4am next to the place where I live as I came back from a nice meeting with my friends. Probably the last student meeting...

Break

It's an extremely busy time for me right now, so I have to take a break from posting on this website - I'm simply forgetting about it. I hope that new photos will appear in the end of the next month.

United Buddy Bears (19)

"United Buddy Bears" is an exhibition from Berlin which is now shown in Warsaw.
The bear on the photo represents one of the neighbour countries of Poland: Czech Republik.

Cross (18)

I have captured this cross on my way from the church in Łódź (not the city, but a small village nearby Poznań) to Będlewo.

Letters (15)

What I like the most about the photo are the reflected letters. Actually I have only noticed them AFTER having taken it. But that's enough, isn't it? ;-)

Polish reality (14)

The text at the top sais:
"Restaurant open daily 6:00-22:00"

And the one at the bottom:
"Restaurant open on Saturdays 6:00-20:00"

The photo was taken at the main train station in Toruń. The quality is quite bad because I had only my mobile with me.

Spring? I can't believe it! (13)

This photo was taken on Friday somewhere between Gorzów and Skwierzyna, in Lubusz Province. It seems that the clima is a bit milder or warmer over there - it looked like a real spring:) It was very windy though.

Midnight sun. Some time after midnight though, as it took us some time to climb up the mountain.

Happy New Year! (6)

This is how the Chinese New Year was being celebrated in London this year. They were lovely. And the crowds of people terrible.

Freezing water (5)

It's water freezing on a cold glass. Just amazing how it looks like! And the pattern is every time different.

I want the sun back! (4)

Even though I am far to the south from the arctic circle, I'm missing the sun this winter. It's much too grey - that's why this photo. The sun will come back one day...

Mural (3)

This photo was taken almost 2 years ago, but the mural is still there. "I to jest miłość?" means more or less "And this is supposed to be love?".

NewYear (1)

Some people are celebrating New Year's Eve, some are at work. It must be an interesting experience to spend this particular night on the tram, as a passanger, not as a driver who does it every year or every second year, I mean.
